Theme – Hope smiles from the threshold of the year to come, whispering, ‘It will be happier.’ Alfred Lord Tennyson”

As we set step in the year, we are approaching it with a lot of optimism. A lot of hope. We kick start the year with the second edition of Ignite-‘Ignite 2021 New Year Family run’.

This is an  invitation to families -kids included  to light up the new year by hitting the road and jump starting an active fun filled fitness year. Part proceeds for the run will go to support the Fistula Charity initiative by Amref Health Africa. Calling out on all to use our good health to spread hope to those in need as we also make deposits to our greatest wealth-our health.

Hope is a powerful thing, a feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen, for a better tomorrow.

It inspires us to do the impossible and helps us carry on during difficult times.

“Hope is the only bee that makes honey without flowers.”-ROBERT GREEN INGERSOLL

It is the light at the end of the tunnel.

Rain in the desert is hope.

A rescue helicopter is hope.

A hospital, or even an ambulance is hope.

A ship on the horizon is hope.

A star, in modern times not necessarily in ancient times, is hope.

The figurehead on a ship is hope, for many, a diploma is hope.

Two people shaking hands might be hope, in the right context.

A new year presents hope.

With hope, people have done incredible things just by having enough hope. “Walk on with hope in your heart, and you’ll never walk alone.

That’s the spirit we want to carry into 2021.
